Let's get following!!!

Hola Blog followers of the 2013 Ridgefield Costa Rica Adventure! Welcome to a blog that is going to be filled with kids faces that you know and love doing things such as rafting one of the most beautiful rivers on the planet, rappelling off a 120ft waterfall, and ziplining 700ft high above the rainforest floor.

We here at CRR are thrilled to have the chance to host the Roth Family and her amazing kids from Ridgefield.  Our goal is to have as many followers this year as last year if not more. The Ridgefield groups always set the record for the amount of followers for a student trip and we promise to fill this blog with entertaining videos, excellent pictures, and somewhat humorous text from my not-so-pulitzer writing skills I have.

My name is Tom Ranieri and I am the owner of CRR and your blog writer.  I will be joining the Roth's and your kids for the entire week along with Jose & Carlos as your drivers, and Go-Diego-GO as our naturalist guide.     Hi Owen! We arrived safe and sound in Puerto Rico at about 6:30pm. Uncle Mark and Aunt Lisa were waiting for us at the airport. Uncle Mark took us right out for a local dinner with, of course, some local flavor!! Fried Plantains and beans and rice on the beach! Love you and miss you! Can't wait to hear about your adventures!     Hi Petros, We made it to Hilton Head in 15 hours! Early enough to go see the beach! We left right after you left at 430am. We enjoyed seeing the picture on the bus and in the pool. Are you the one with the white sheet over your head and black sunglasses on the bus? Have the best time in your cave adventure! Love Mommy Baba Pata Julianne.

    We miss you!! So glad you all made it on the plane, that was a close one...The Rangers just beat the Islanders in OT thanks to Girardi's goal and Yale just won the national championship!! We love you..have fun..xo

    Saw a picture of you and you were all smiles which tells us you are having a blast! We love seeing all the pictures of your adventures! We spent a lot of time at the pool and in the ocean yesterday. Waves were awesome for bodysurfing! Went to Old San Juan yesterday afternoon and checked out the old fortress that sits up on a cliff overlooking the ocean...incredible!! Very mountainous here and picturesque. The view from our room overlooks the Rainforest which we will explore in a couple of days. We all miss you and love you! Mom, Dad, Karley and the rest of the gang.

    Great pictures, looks like you're having a blast; its great to be able to share in your experiences like this! The waterfall must have been beautiful in person. Did you make the jump....looks like that was a lot of fun!
    Mom and Quinn are enjoying CA...they went to Sea World and the Zoo...no liger though!

    Hi Owen!
    We check the blog every day and love seeing the pictures. We have been busy the last couple days exploring PR. We took a kayak tour to the Bioluminescent bay last night. Very cool to see the water glow (Mrs. Roth will be able to explain how that happens, I'm sure!) today we hike into the Rainforest and swam under the waterfall just like you. We miss you and love you!     Here's an update from the days events in PR. Julia beat Kate in every pool competition. Kate beat Julia in air hockey. Mommy slept and read by the pool all day. And I finally found my golf swing. Not the same without you. Miss you a lot.

    I just had some time to go through the photos of this real cool adventure you're on and I hate to admit it but yes, I'm green with envy! Several "to do's" on my bucket list could have been crossed off, if only you would have invited me... Lol. Have a ball! Can't wait to see tomorrows pics.
